The Best Toffee Coffee Recipe

Mmm. Coffee. Even better Too Good Toffee Coffee.

I like it black.

I like it with cream.

I love it with homemade Kahlua.

In the winter I like it hot.

In the summer I like it brewed over ice.

Tonight, I made a delicious cup of English Toffee Coffee.

It is decadent.

It is rich.

It is sweet and joyful.

It’s too easy!

I’m ready to make a second cup of this goodness.

Too Good Toffee Coffee Recipe Ingredients

3 Ninja® Small Scoops (or 3 tablespoons) ground coffee (Arabica coffee is my preference)

1 tablespoon butterscotch or caramel sauce

1 tablespoon dark brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup heavy cream

Too Good Toffee Recipe Instructions

Size: Cup setting

For this recipe, I am using the Ninja Bar Coffee Maker.

Brew: Rich the measurement provided, place the ground coffee in the brew basket.

Place butterscotch or caramel sauce, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt into a mug; set mug in place to brew.

Select the Cup size; press the Rich Brew button.

While coffee is brewing, place cream into a large mug.

Microwave cream for 30 to 45 seconds.

Froth for 30 seconds according to frothing instructions in the Owner’s Guide.

Microwave cream for 30 to 45 seconds.

Froth for 30 seconds.

I also like not to heat the heavy cream and just froth it until it is thick (not quite whipped cream), add 2 tsp of homemade Kahlua, and use the frother just until blended.

It is amazing this way!

When brewing is complete, stir to combine.

Gently pour frothed cream into the coffee.

Top off with drizzled butterscotch!

Sprinkle with crushed toffee pieces.

You could even drizzle a thin layer of chocolate syrup.

Sometimes, I also like to add crushed Heath Bar to the top for a little more flair!
