Today’s Best Recipe is Kraft’s Famous Queso Dip, with a spin.

I have included the original recipe, but we like to Gussie ours up every now and again.

When it comes to food, my family doesn’t need a celebration. We can chow down. One of our favorites is chips and dips. 

I love the ease of Kraft’s Famous Queso Dip Recipe for game night, movie night, cheering someone up and just plain ol’ snacking.

It’s simple, requires just two ingredients (if you go with the original version) and when I come back in the room with a big bowl of it, my kiddos cheer!

My mouth is watering, it’s sooooooo good!

It’s the star of every tailgate, movie viewing party and game night.

Queso, with the creamy goodness of VELVEETA combined with RO*TEL’s zesty blend of tomatoes and green chilis, might just be the best dip out there.

Who am I kidding?

It IS the best dip.

It takes about 10 minutes from start to finish including opening the can and cutting up the Velveeta.

I like to put my own spin on this easy recipe. Here’s how I do it:

Kraft’s Famous Queso Dip Recipe Ingredients:

  •  *(16 oz.) VELVEETA®, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • *1 can  (10 oz.) RO*TEL Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies, undrained
  • 1 can chili, we like the kind with meat added.
  • 1 can diced green chiles

*These are the only two ingredients you need to make the ORIGINAL Kraft Queso dip.

Kraft’s Famous Queso Dip Recipe Directions:

  • COMBINE ingredients in a microwaveable bowl.
  • MICROWAVE on HIGH 5 min. or until VELVEETA is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after 3 min.
  • CAUTION: Dish will be hot; use hot pads.
  • For a double recipe: microwave on HIGH 8 minutes or until VELVEETA melts, stirring after 5 minutes.

Note: Drain 1 can of tomatoes if a thicker dip is preferred.

SERVING SUGGESTION

Serve with assorted cut-up fresh vegetables, WHEAT THINS Original Snacks, or tortilla chips.
We also love it on baked potatoes!
Garnish with Mexican Chorizo, sliced jalapenos, green chiles, black beans, sour cream, minced onions.
