Copycat Arizona Iced Tea

Today’s Best Recipe is Copycat Arizona Iced Tea.

Arizona Iced Tea is a drink I’ve been drinking since the early 1990s.

This recipe is deliciously close to the Arizona Green Tea I love.

Try comparing side by side.

8 cups water
1 Lipton Green Teabag
1/2 cup sugar (or 1/3) based on taste
2.75 Tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 tsp. ginseng extract (optional)
2 Tbsp. honey

Iced tea with lemon slices, mint and ice cubes on wooden rustic background close up. Homemade refreshing summer drink.

How to Make Copycat Arizona Ice Tea.

Boil water.

Turn off heat and place tea bags in a pan of water.

Allow steeping for about fifteen minutes.

Remove tea bags.

Turn heat on low and add sugar to tea and stir until sugar is dissolved.

Add all other ingredients.

Pour into a pitcher filled with ice.

Gingseng Tips:

Find Ginseng extract in your local health store.

Opt for American Ginseng because Chinese Ginseng is…ick!

Diet Arizona Iced Tea Copy Cat:

If you’d like to make your own diet version, simply substitute the sugar for zero-calorie sweetener instead. The label on Arizona Green Tea (Diet) still uses honey as an ingredient, so we don’t recommend omitting the honey.
